Distinugsh the Differences Between iPhone and GPhone as Nexus One is Coming

Since Google has the powerful and mature Android OS for many mobile producers, such as HTC, Motorola etc... Lots of GPhone features has been found by the mobile users. Now Google decide to design its own Android-based mobile, which will be called Nexus One, this HTC manufactured product will be limited as the T-mobile 3G, yet support North American GSM bands (850 and 1900), which FCC has approves recently.

We do not discuss the advantages and disadvantage of the limitation of the telecom operators, in this article, we would like to compare iPhone with Gphone to see whether it is worth to purchase the Nexus One. would it be a challenge with iPhone, or can the two devices be comparable? Let us figure out the answer by distinguishing the differences between iPhone and Gphone.

First, iPhone is the real device manufactured by Apple, yet the Gphone, or we call it Google Phones, are so far not actually physical device produces by Google, Google supply the operating system called Android, and other producers make phones based on this system, as you know, Motorola, HTC, Sony Ericsson and Samsung, so many manufacturers and so many phones, have you seen any can compare with iPhone?

Second, Google Phones have open platform, but what you see in the phones frequently are just, Gmail, Google Calendar, Gtalks, Google Docs Google Maps etc... To be honestly I just found Maps is useful, luckily the statistics show that more Apps has been developed for GPhones. For iPhone users, they never worry about they cannot find apps for them.

At last, iPhone has its strong backup for entertainment, the iTunes, which enables you to sync any apps to iPhone (although mostly not free) anytime; for GPhone, I know it has the powerful search engine.

All in all,  like the Mac, the iPhone will continue to be a well-designed and easy-to-use device and one of the most powerful smartphones available. If GPhone want to take over iPhone, I think it is impossible on the foreseeable future, Nexus one is not the savior for the liberation of Android, even not the iPhone-Killer as people whispered.
